Eastern Healing‘s Cancellation Policy

At Eastern Healing™, we value the time of our patients and excellent staff. We also appreciate the trust you place in our wonderful team when booking your appointments.

However, some life changes can come unannounced, and we wish to support you through these with utmost understanding. We’ve implemented specific cancellation policies to ensure timely care for all our patients and to optimize our own schedule. This allows us to continue serving the community with the highest standards of holistic wellness.

Early Cancellations

When you book an appointment with owner Peter Harvey at Eastern Healing™, you reserve a time slot that’s exclusively set aside for your care. To keep our schedule running smoothly for all our existing and potential patients, we require that any cancellations or changes on your behalf be communicated in advance.

For most cancellations, we require a 24-hour notice (one business day), allowing us to allocate your appointment’s time to another patient and adjust our timetable with minimal disruption. (There is no charge for early cancellations.)

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and emergencies do not occur at a convenient time. The only thing we ask for is to keep us informed if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Our team will gladly assist you with choosing another time slot in the future.

Our 48-Hour Notice Request for Saturday and Monday Appointments

Peter Harvey is generally not available at the office on Fridays and Sundays. For appointments scheduled on Saturdays and Mondays, we require a 48-hour advance notice. This gives us and Peter ample time to maintain a smooth routine and ensure continuous care for patients who rely on our services, guidance, and time.

Late Cancellations/ No-Show Policy

Our team is dedicated to providing the best care possible to all our patients. Any cancellations made without sufficient notice affect our ability to offer the services that our patients deserve and need.

If you can cancel your appointment within the 24-hour (or 48 hour) notice period, we can assist you with a stress-free rescheduling to ensure your well-being is not compromised. In case of cancellations without any communication, a cancellation fee may be applicable. This cost allows us to allocate the time and resources that would have been spent on your appointment to another patient.

This measure is not intended to penalize our patients. It helps us preserve the integrity of our services and offer them to those who depend on us. When you fail to show up without any intimation, we lose the time someone else could have used, as well as the income that could help us keep thriving.
