Nahir Colon-Rivera, AP, Dipl. OM

Nahir Colon-Rivera is a dedicated acupuncturist with over 9 years of clinical experience who believes that healing begins by listening. She takes a thoughtful, whole-person approach to care, helping patients find relief, restore balance, and achieve their health goals through Traditional Chinese Medicine.

While Nahir has a special passion for fertility and reproductive health, she works with patients facing a wide range of concerns, including pain, stress, anxiety, sleep disorders, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, allergies, and overall wellness. Her treatments are designed to support the body’s natural healing abilities while addressing each patient’s unique needs.

Her path to acupuncture was shaped by her own experience as a patient. After experiencing her own fertility challenges, she discovered the powerful role acupuncture can play in supporting health and healing. That experience inspired her to dedicate her career to helping others navigate their own health journeys with confidence, support, and hope.

Patients appreciate Nahir’s compassionate nature, attentive listening, and personalized approach. She believes that every person deserves to feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their care. Whether someone is seeking support for fertility, recovering from chronic pain, managing stress, or simply striving for better health, she works closely with them to create a treatment plan that supports lasting wellness.

Nahir trained extensively in Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been mentored by respected acupuncturist Peter Harvey, whose guidance helped shape her clinical approach and commitment to patient-centered care. She combines traditional healing principles with evidence-informed practices to provide thoughtful and effective treatment.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Nahir brings warmth, cultural understanding, and a welcoming presence to her practice. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to care for a diverse community of patients and families.

A proud wife and mother of two boys, Nahir understands the many demands of everyday life and the importance of nurturing health through every stage of life. Her goal is simple: to help her patients feel their best, find greater balance, and move forward with confidence in their health and well-being.
